David Jaggs

Classical Guitarist.

This extract, Soneto 1 by Enriquez Valderrabano, written in 1547, is from David Jaggs' latest classical album to be released in the summer of 2009.

For this album, two beautiful French guitars were used, a 1971 Daniel Freiderich, kindly loaned by Kent Guitar Classics and a 2009 Jean Noel Rohe spruce guitar. The album will include works by Villa Lobos, Bach and Brouwer.

David Jaggs attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London under the direction of David Miller and Antonio Albanes.

After graduating with distinction, David was privileged to become a private student of one of the world's leading classical guitarists, Manuel Barrueco in New Jersey, USA.
